Erin Patton

Erin E. Patton is a family law attorney practicing primarily in Chester County and the surrounding counties. She has practiced family law exclusively since being admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Erin focuses her practice solely on family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, child support, APL/spousal support, custody (including grandparents’ rights and in loco parentis rights), protection from abuse, adoption, termination of parental rights, and name changes. Erin is also a certified family law mediator.
Erin earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Delaware Law School at Widener University. During law school, Erin was a judicial extern for the Honorable Katherine B.L. Platt and the Honorable Anthony A. Sarcione of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas as well as the Chester County Family Court Master’s Unit. Prior to attending law school, Erin gained experience in family law working as a legal assistant at a well-known Chester County law firm after obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Neumann College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Erin is an active member of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Chester County Bar Association Family Law Sections and was recently selected to participate in the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section’s Leadership Development Program. She currently serves on the executive board of the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court and has been repeatedly named a “Top Lawyer” of Chester County. In 2019, Erin was appointed to the Chester County Family Court Rules Committee where she served from 2019-2021.
A life-long resident of Chester County, Erin continues to reside in Chester County with her husband and two daughters.
